Neighborhood

Northeast Minneapolis, known colloquially as “Nordeast,” is a collection of neighborhoods positioned to the North and East of the Mississippi River. It was, and still is, a neighborhood of immigrants. From its Eastern European roots (see: Kramarczuk’s) to the modern-day Latin American & Somali presence that defines the incredible ethnic foods along Central Ave NE, Northeast is more than the sum of its parts: a truly original neighborhood that also happens to be home to some of the best food, drink, & culture in the Twin Cities.
